Praying for the Tired Mom
Encouragement for the drained momma: God Sees you
There are days when motherhood feels less like a calling and more like a battlefield. One you don’t know who you’re fighting against. Can you relate…if you’re a mom then I know you can.
The laundry is neverending.
The dishes are piled up.
Your children are constantly hungry.
And you are just over here running on empty.
Momma, if this is you today, I see you! Let me pray over you. Let me remind you of this truth:
God sees you! Even when it feels like no one else does. HE sees you!
God Sees the Unseen Work
No one cheers you for wiping sticky hands.
No one gives you awards for bedtime routines (or let’s be honest, sometimes it’s more like falling asleep wherever we fall).
No one cheers because you remembered everyone’s appointments.
But heaven notices. God sees you.
Every prayer whispered over sleeping children.
Every meal made with love.
Every sacrifice you make quietly.
Scripture reminds us:
“The Lord looks at the heart” 1 Samuel 16:7
You’re unseen work is seen by HIM.
Nothing is wasted.
Nothing is forgotten.
Your Obedience Matters More Than You Know
Some days, obedience looks like a big, bold faith.
Other days… it looks like dragging yourself out of bed when you're exhausted and choosing patience again.
It looks like:
Speaking kindly when your overwhelmed
Praying instead of panicing
TRUSTing God when you don’t have the answers
Momma, every small “yes” to God is building something eternal.
You may not see the fruit yet, but seeds are growing!
Momma, Your Prayers are Powerful
Never underestimate what happens when a mother prays.
Your whispered prayers over backpacks.
Your tears in the bathroom while little hands are poking under the door.
Your late-night conversations with God.
They matter.
God hears every word-even the ones that come out broke.

Your Presence is Valuable
You’re not going to be perfect.
You’re not going to have it all together.
Your children don’t need a supermom.
They need YOU.
Your voice.
Your hugs.
Your consistency.
Your love.
Just showing up- day after day- is exactly what YOUR kids need.
A Prayer for the Tired Momma
Lord,
We thank you for all of your blessings. We lift up to you the momma reading this today. Remind her that she is seen, she is loved, and she is chosen. Fill her with peace where there is exhaustion. Give her strength where she feels weak. Renew her joy. Restore her hope. And Lord, please remind her that her work matters- now and forever.
We pray all of this in your beautiful and precious name, Lord, Amen.
